I wish they were able to put out more of this content. It’s spiritual nourishment for members like myself who spend alot of time on here and have a easier time watching a video than reading etc

“Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles. I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones, for mine anger is not upon them that rejoice in my highness. The noise of the multitude in the mountains like as of a great people, a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together, the Lord of Hosts mustereth the hosts of the battle.”

    2 Nephi 23:2-4

Not interested in talking about the Mormons. Thank you for serving. I was in Kenya as a Missionary and it was so hard; the hardest part was going back to America and my cushy little life. I never felt normal again, and that was in 2001. Bless you sister.

My husband took the same self-reliance course that Tamisha talked about here. It was amazing to see him go from being absolutely certain that the course would hold no value for him, to being absolutely certain that he WOULD find work even in our struggling economy, simply because he believed the promise that the First Presidency made in the course materials: that if he (or anyone taking the course) lived by the principles taught, they would find employment. He has a job that he absolutely loves now, and he’s made strides in his spiritual life that I haven’t seen from him in years!
If you are wondering if the self-reliance courses are for you . . . if they can help . . . it is my testimony that they are and they do!
